K-5 Open House for Parents and Students on March 14, 2010 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Green Fields seeks a diverse student body of academically able, motivated students who possess and show potential for developing a variety of talents and interests, and whose goals include attending a college or university. In selecting students and determining their placement within the school, we are guided by the following:
- Records of grades and standardized test scores from the student's previous school.
- Written recommendations from teachers in the previous school.
- A writing sample
All applicants are strongly encouraged to make a visit to Green Fields when classes are in session. A partial-day visit may be arranged, where the prospective student attends class with a current Green Fields student.

Green Fields admits students on a rolling admissions basis, upon completion of a successful application, as long as space remains available in the class to which the student is applying. If the class is filled, the student will be placed on a waiting list. Students should start the application process in the fall of the school year preceding the year in which they wish to enroll.

Financial Assistance
Families who wish to apply for need-based financial assistance should request a financial disclosure form. These forms are completed and submitted directly to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid. Requests for financial aid are held in the strictest confidence and are acted upon by a special financial assistance committee after the student has been admitted to the school. Each year a substantial portion of the school's budget is allocated to financial assistance.
